Peptide Technologies: the low-stakes first order

Sheridan, Wyoming. $29 for a 5mg vial, $5.80 per mg, Finnrick tested. Twenty nine dollars is a cheap way to watch how a shop handles packaging, cold shipping, and paperwork before you commit to a 10mg order with it. Penguin Peptides: the one with a dispute path

$67 for 10mg, $6.70 per mg, Janoshik tested, and the payment list is the best of the group: ACH, bank transfer, PayPal, and Zelle. Paying by PayPal on a first order means recourse exists if a package goes missing. For a first purchase from anyone, that matters more than saving four dollars. Also worth a look: Panda Peptides matches the $49.99 price on a 10mg vial with Janoshik testing and six payment methods, though it ships from Ontario. NuLife Peptides and Polaris Peptides both run $75 per 10mg on Finnrick COAs. Chameleon Peptides out of Sacramento lists 10mg at $61.20, Janoshik tested.

Buy the bigger vial

Twenty three sellers list a 5mg sermorelin vial and 25 list a 10mg. Nine shops carry both sizes, and at seven of those nine the 5mg costs more per milligram, sometimes a lot more.

Chameleon prices 5mg at $39.60 and 10mg at $61.20. That is $7.92 per mg against $6.12, a 29 percent premium for buying less. SimplePeptide runs $49 for 5mg and $79 for 10mg, so $9.80 against $7.90. ExoLabz shows the widest gap we found: $64.20 for 5mg and $75.61 for 10mg, which is $12.84 per mg against $7.56.

One caveat before you size up: reconstituted peptide has a clock on it, so match the vial to what you will realistically get through. Sermorelin has an FDA file almost nothing else here has

EMD Serono sold sermorelin as Geref. The FDA approved it on September 26, 1997 under NDA 020443 for growth hormone deficiency in children with growth failure, and the product left the US market in 2008.

The interesting part came five years later. In a March 4, 2013 Federal Register notice (78 FR 14095), the FDA formally determined that Geref left the market for reasons other than safety or effectiveness. That determination is the legal hinge keeping sermorelin available through licensed compounding pharmacies today, and it puts sermorelin in a calmer regulatory position than most of the catalog. Sermorelin is also absent from the FDA list of bulk substances flagged as presenting significant safety risks in compounding, a list that does include BPC-157, epitalon, and melanotan II.

Two things stay true regardless. Material sold through research supply channels carries a research use label, and sermorelin is prohibited in sport by USADA for its effect on the body's own growth hormone output. Anything you plan to do with a compound like this belongs in a conversation with your doctor.

Eleven minutes

Sermorelin is the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone releasing hormone, amidated, and that fragment carries the full activity of the 44-amino-acid parent hormone at the GHRH receptor. Its half-life is 11 to 12 minutes whether given intravenously or subcutaneously, subcutaneous bioavailability is roughly 6 percent, and peak blood levels arrive 5 to 20 minutes after a dose.

Those numbers shape everything about how sermorelin gets used. Growth hormone output stays elevated for around three hours after a dose even though the peptide itself clears in minutes (Wilton et al., Acta Paediatrica Supplement, 1993). Short fuse, long echo.
