Advertising and editorial independence

How we make money
PeptidesRated is free to use. Some links to vendors may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. That is what keeps the site free. As of the date above, we have no paid placements and no sponsored rankings.
Editorial independence
Compensation does not affect our scores, our rankings, or the order in which vendors appear. Vendors cannot pay for a better score, better placement, or removal of a low score. Our 0 to 10 PR Score is computed from a public, six-dimension rubric (COA quality, price, reputation, US availability, catalog depth, and payment) applied identically to every vendor, whether or not that vendor has an affiliate program.
What advertiser compensation does not change
Unlike sites that let sponsors influence placement, our vendor list is ordered purely by score and by price. Affiliate relationships have no effect on any score, ranking, or sort order anywhere on the site.
Our scores are editorial opinion
The PR Score and any vendor rankings are our editorial assessment based on the disclosed methodology above. They are our opinion, not statements of objective fact about any vendor. Where we describe a verifiable fact (for example whether a third-party COA was available on a given date), we note the date and source.
FTC disclosure
We follow the FTC guidelines on endorsements and affiliate relationships (16 CFR Part 255). Where a link is an affiliate link, we disclose it at or near the link.
Current affiliate relationships
We currently have no active affiliate relationships. As we establish them, we will list the specific vendors here so you always know where a commission may apply.
